Wir arbeiten gemeinsam an der Planung und Durchführung der Veranstaltung. Beide Parteien sind gemeinsam für die Verarbeitung Ihrer Daten verantwortlich, insbesondere im Bereich der Anmeldung, Teilnehmerorganisation und Veranstaltungsabwicklung.

 

Zweck der Datenverarbeitung

Wir verarbeiten Ihre personenbezogenen Daten ausschließlich im Rahmen der Anmeldung zur Veranstaltung und der Durchführung der Veranstaltung. Dazu gehören:

- Ihre Anmeldung (z.B. Name, E-Mail-Adresse, Beruf, Institution)

- Teilnehmerdaten (z.B. für die Teilnehmerliste, Zertifikate)

- Upload von Dateien (z.B. Präsentationen, Dokumente) zur Veranstaltung

- Ggf. Upload von Bildern (z.B. für die Veranstaltungspräsentation, Social Media)

 

Rechtsgrundlage

Die Verarbeitung Ihrer Daten erfolgt aufgrund der folgenden Rechtsgrundlagen:

Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO: Zur Erfüllung des Vertrags mit Ihnen (Anmeldung und Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung).

Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO: Bei Einwilligung (z.B. für den Erhalt von Newslettern oder die Veröffentlichung von Bildern).

 

Empfänger Ihrer Daten

Ihre Daten werden an folgende Empfänger weitergegeben:

KU Leuven (gemeinsamer Verantwortlicher) – zur Abwicklung der Veranstaltung und zur Information über Folgeveranstaltungen.

 

Drittlandübermittlung

Datenübermittlungen in Drittländer (z. B. USA) erfolgen nur, wenn wir geeignete Garantien (z. B. SCCs, DPF) sicherstellen. Eine Übermittlung erfolgt nicht in Länder mit unzureichendem Datenschutzniveau.

 

Übermittlung an Kollegin in Belgien

Ihre Daten werden an die Kolleg:innen in Belgien übermittelt, um die Veranstaltung gemeinsam vorzubereiten und durchzuführen. Die Übermittlung erfolgt aufgrund der gemeinsamen Verantwortlichkeit (Joint Controller) und ist im Rahmen der Vertragsabwicklung notwendig. Belgien ist ein Mitglied der EU und verfügt über ein angemessenes Datenschutzniveau gemäß Art. 45 DSGVO.

 

Speicherdauer

Ihre Daten werden nach Ablauf von zehn (10) Jahren nach der Veranstaltung gelöscht, sofern keine gesetzliche Aufbewahrungspflicht besteht (z. B. für Teilnahmebestätigungen).  

 

Ihre Rechte

Sie haben das Recht:

- auf Auskunft über Ihre gespeicherten Daten (Art. 15 DSGVO),

- auf Berichtigung unrichtiger Daten (Art. 16 DSGVO),

- auf Löschung Ihrer Daten (Art. 17 DSGVO),

- auf Einschränkung der Verarbeitung (Art. 18 DSGVO),

- auf Datenübertragbarkeit (Art. 20 DSGVO),

- auf Widerspruch gegen die Verarbeitung (Art. 21 DSGVO),

- auf Beschwerde bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde.

 

Sicherheitsmaßnahmen

Wir treffen technische und organisatorische Maßnahmen, um Ihre Daten vor Verlust, Zerstörung, Zugriff, Veränderung oder Verbreitung zu schützen. Dazu gehören:

- Verschlüsselung (HTTPS),

- Zugriffsbeschränkungen,

- Regelmäßige Sicherheitsupdates.

 

Gemeinsame Verantwortlichkeit (Joint Controller)

Da wir gemeinsam mit Kolleg:innen der KU Leuven in Belgien die Datenverarbeitung durchführen, sind wir beide gemeinsam für die Einhaltung der DSGVO verantwortlich. Sie können sich an jede der beiden Parteien wenden, um Ihre Rechte auszuüben. Die Kolleg:innen in Belgien sind ebenfalls für die Verarbeitung verantwortlich und kann auf Anfrage Auskunft erteilen.

 

Änderungen der Datenschutzerklärung

Wir behalten uns vor, diese Datenschutzerklärung anzupassen, falls dies aufgrund neuer technischer oder rechtlicher Entwicklungen erforderlich wird. Die aktuelle Version ist jederzeit auf unserer Webseite abrufbar.

INFORMATION ON DATA PROCESSING IN CONNECTION WITH GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Data that has reached the end of its retention period is automatically deleted once a month.

Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of this service.
