FORTRESS
is a non-profit, purely academic annual meeting initiated in 2019 that alternates between Leuven (Belgium) and Essen (Germany).
It is focused on translational research in all sarcomas and offers extensive networking opportunities to facilitate and cultivate collaborations within the sarcoma community.

SARKOMTOUR / BARTS WEG
The Sarkomtour is a yearly fundraising event initiated by Prof. Sebastian Bauer and organized by the Foundation University Hospital Essen together with the German Sarcoma Foundation.
Barts Weg is a non-for-profit organization in memory of the late Bart Verbeeck, a young Ewing sarcoma patient which is fully devoted to supporting sarcoma research and care.
